Mohamed Salah and Victoria’s Secret collaborated on a photo shoot for GQ Magazine featuring Egypt King

Mo Salah, an Egyptian football player and striker for Liverpool, has drawn criticism for being included in a cover photo that highlights double standards in society.

Slh may be featured alongside former Victori’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio on the cover of GQ Middle East.

The debate centers on the second version, which depicts Ambrosio encircling him from behind whereas the first version shows them standing back to back.

Additionally, a behind-the-scenes movie shows the actors working together.

The majority of comments, particularly in Egypt, focused on how Slh was attracted to the model despite being a married Muslim man in a conservative country.

Imagine if I were a married Muslim woman, a Twitter user said.

People were so upset by the scandal that they chose not to or would not acknowledge Liverpool’s achievement in winning GQ’s Man of the Year award for 2019.

And after posting the two covers on his social media accounts, Slush received several angry comments criticizing the images and questioning his morality.

One Instgrm’ser said, “Shime on you’re Muslim.”

Many of the comments were jokes about Slh’s real life coming to an end or being in trouble. Tens of millions of fans across the globe support the footbal player, but he has not yet addressed the backlash.

People immediately compared Slih’s photographs to those of female Egyptian superstars who had given stronger reactions to behavior that was seen as immortal. After wearing a dress to a red carpet event that revealed her legs and upper thighs, actress Rni Yossef ran the prospect of receiving a five-year prison term.

Slh is not averse to sharing pictures of his life, and his Instagram account is bursting to the seams with genuine snaps. But the GQ profile reveals how difficult it is for him to balance being an Egyptian, a Muslim, and a global star with a large following outside of the Arab world.

Defense of the forward said that he was no longer a local Egyptian star but an international A-lister and that his photoshoot with Ambrosio was invalid. They questioned why he was being attacked.
