Mykhailo Mudryk slams Arsenal fan asking for a selfie after ‘London is Red’ comment

Mykhailo Mudryk, a star for Chelsea, responds with a clever rejoinder to an Arsenal fan who requested a selfie.

Mykhailo Mudryk of Chelsea had a clever response for an Arsenal fan who yelled “London is Red!” while asking for a selfie with the Ukrainian winger.

Video of Mudryk posing for photos outside Ukraine’s team bus for supporters during the international break has surfaced. One Gunners fan, though, was unable to help but shout out Arsenal’s “London is Red” cry after having his picture shot.

Mudryk swiftly spun around and stared down the crowd when hearing the dig from the undercover Gooner. In Ukrainian, the 22-year-old Chelsea star had the perfect response ready for the cheeky Arsenal fan.

“Why are you asking for a photo then?” Mykhailo Mudryk fired back, prompting laughter from his watching teammates.

The player, who cost Chelsea £88.5 million, left Shakhtar Donetsk in January amid intense competition from Arsenal in the Premier League. However, one naughty fan still made an attempt to insult Mudryk by making a reference to the Gunners.

But it backfired miserably since the winger’s witty jab completely changed the course of the play.

Instead of being enraged, Mudryk deftly stated that the fan shouldn’t have bothered taking the image if he was only going to mention Arsenal later.

Mudryk has had a sluggish start since his high-profile transfer to Stamford Bridge, scoring just once in his first 11 games.

However, his incisive retort to the ardent Arsenal supporter demonstrated his mental toughness amid a trying period of readjustment. Mudryk delivered a famous verbal takedown instead than allowing the rival fan’s jibe to disturb him.

The Chelsea attacker obviously possesses the temperament to manage the heated rivalry between the two London clubs in the Premier League.

His flawless clapback will please Blues fans and demonstrate Mudryk’s seriousness both on and off the field as he attempts to justify his high transfer fee in England.
