Next summer, clubs in Saudi Arabia will scout Anthony Martial

Manchester United are currently in a terrible slump, losing six of their last ten games across all competitions and putting significant pressure on manager Erik ten Hag.

In the Champions League, the defense has taken some heat, but in the Premier League, it’s the offense that hasn’t been able to save them.

Three goals in the Champions League is a good start, but Rasmus Hojlund has yet to score in the Premier League.

Marcus Rashford was the team’s leading scorer and did not make a single mistake all of last season. So far this season, he has only scored once.

United’s No. 9 Anthony Martial has, once again, been relegated to the background, a line that sums up his whole time with the club.

He achieves success in a few games, but then an ιnjury sidelines him, and he is reduced to becoming an ineffective substitute.

After seeing the Frenchman’s application upon his arrival in preseason, Ten Hag chose to keep the former Monaco star because he believed he could get the most out of him.

While his final stats of 9 goals and 3 assists aren’t terrible, Martial never scored the game-winner despite starting 17 occasions.

And Martial has only started twice this season, scoring once in the Carabao Cup, and it does not appear that he will replace Hojlund any time soon.

Even though supporters have sung his theme song from the stands since his arrival, the French international has rarely lived up to the hype.

Despite United’s willingness to let him go during the summer transfer window, no major team expressed interest in signing him.

United will have to help Saudi Arabia target Martial next summer.

Few teams are prepared to take a chance on him due to his hefty salary and spotty ιnjury history.

To that end, Fichajes reports that many Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in signing him this coming summer. Even though the footballer would be happier playing in his native country, Saudi Arabia is willing to pay him significantly more to play there.

“Despite turning down offers from Saudi Arabia this summer, Martial is a rιsk because to his unreliability and injuries. The source mentioned that returning to Ligue 1 is a possibility, but that “the financial offers from Saudi Arabia could be too tempting.”

The 27-year-old was purchased for €60 million in 2015, but his current market value is only €15 million, according to Transfermarkt. United needs to bring in more money than that.
