Nicolas Jackson to ‘wake up’ as the Blues slump to an awful Brentford defeat

After a disheartening 2-0 loss for the Blues, Mauricio Pochettino was compelled to step in and deal with an arrogant Chelsea fan who got into a fight with striker Nicolas Jackson.

When the sides ended the half level at 0-0, the Senegalese attacker allegedly shooed away a heckler.

In response to a question regarding the incident, Pochettino stated: “One fan said, “Wake up” and began to abuse a little.”

“Nicolas Jackson appeared to lose some concentration.” The fan complied with my request to “stop talking this way, we need your support, get behind the team, and be very respectful.”

He said, “Wake up,” and the player misinterpreted it. Not a lot more.

Following an unexpected loss to Brentford, pressure has been placed on the former Tottenham manager’s shoulders.

Nicolas Jackson reportedly shushed a Chelsea fan who said: ‘Why don’t you score a goal?’

Mauricio Pochettino’s team lost shockingly at home against Brentford, dropping them to the 11th spot.

For the Blues, Jackson—who was making his eighth league start of the year—was incredibly silent.

Later on, there was another altercation between Bernardo Cueva, a member of Frank’s backroom staff, and Jesus Perez, Pochettino’s number two, which resulted in the Chelsea player’s dismissal and also revealed the frustration within the Blues’ camp.

Actually, Pochettino’s team did not provide the fans with much to cheer about, and as a result, they were jeered off once more.

This was a dull performance devoid of inspiration, possibilities, and purpose outside of Cole Palmer, especially after the positive performance against Arsenal, even though they let a two-goal lead slip away in the closing minutes. Brentford had the better opportunities, but Chelsea hogged the ball.

When Brentford attacked, there was much more purpose, as evidenced by the haste with which Ethan Pinnock climbed above Chelsea’s sleeping defenders to head home the first goal of the visit before Bryan Mbeumo added an injury-time second.
