Without a doubt, Arnold Schwarzenegger qualifies as a “gearhead”.
We can see that he is familiar with his cars because he purchased one of the most exquisite and rare vehicles available for purchase.
The Speedster is the first Jaguar E-Type “zero kilomètre” in the world, designed by independent brand Eagle Engineering.
The Eagle Speedster’s concept is rather straightforward, at least in theory.
Indeed, one of the most sought-after cars on the vintage market is the Jaguar Type E, but finding one in good condition is nearly hard.
That’s the reason Eagle chose to build one.
Eagle Engineering has put in a lot of effort to make the Speedster as close to the Type E as feasible in terms of aesthetics and driving enjoyment.
It has a 4.7-liter engine that drives it together with a five-speed gearbox.
Even though the car was built in 2010, it still has an analog dashboard, a vintage-looking volant, and a retrovisor that seems like it came straight out of the 1950s.
The Speedster is quite uncommon.
Only six units have been built, and aside from Arnold Schwarzenegger, we know that Simon Cowell, the host of Britain’s Got Talent, owns one.
In addition, Cowell was once photographed in Los Angeles with one of them on the volant.
The price is a mystery.
The initial price was estimated to be around $1 million, and the six cars were built on demand.
Since the Eagle Speedster’s launch more than ten years ago, two have been on the market.
According to the announcement, one of them had about $200,000 worth of options.
Regarding Schwarzenegger’s, it’s probably not even close to being sold.
Avec une valeur nominale de 450 millions d’euros, il n’est plus nécessaire, est-ce pas?
