The official men’s team photo for the 2023–2024 season of Manchester City football has been taken.
The team coached by Pep Guardiola has gotten off to a flying start to the new season. They are the only team in the Premier League to have a perfect record after five games, and they presently hold the first spot.
We kicked off our defense of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday with a decisive 3-1 victory over Red Star Belgrade. A brace from Julian Alvarez and a goal from Rodrigo were enough for the three points, and we won thanks to their efforts.
And if that wasn’t enough, City won the Super Cup after beating Sevilla in a penalty shootout back in August. That was the icing on the cake.
The next match in the league schedule for Pep Guardiola’s squad is a match against Nottingham Forest, a team that has also had a strong start to the new season.
After having not competed in the Premier League since the 1998–1999 season, the team managed by Steve Cooper is presently ranked eighth in the standings, and they will travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City.
Before Saturday’s fight, the players took a break from our painstaking preparations to pose for the official team shot for the current campaign. It looks like it will be an entertaining matchup.
When the team was getting ready for the shoot, there were plenty of smiles on display, and the players were also joined by the entirety of Pep Guardiola’s backroom staff. This is more evidence of the collaborative effort that has led to our incredible recent success.
And we had our photographers there to provide a look at the City Football Academy from an exclusive behind-the-scenes vantage point.
