In a match where three first-half goals proved decisive, the Netherlands secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Greece on Thursday. Cody Gakpo played for 65 minutes and contributed with the second goal of the night, while Virgil van Dijk captained the team and played the full 90 minutes. Kostas Tsimikas featured for the entire game for Greece.
Both teams now have 6 points in group B, trailing behind the leaders, France. However, Greece has played one more match and is also two goals behind in goal difference.
Republic of Ireland sits in the fourth position in the group, and Caoimhin Kelleher was an unused substitute as his team suffered a 2-0 defeat against France.
