Reece James set to return by late october

Following his hamstring injury during the Premier League match against Liverpool in the opening round, Reece James has been sidelined for an extended period. However, there’s good news on the horizon for Chelsea fans as the versatile player has recently resumed training.

Reece James has been taking part in team training sessions, although he hasn’t been able to fully complete all aspects of the coaching staff’s planned drills. Nevertheless, Chelsea’s medical team is encouraged by the relatively smooth progress of his recovery.

If his recovery continues on its current positive trajectory, Reece James is expected to make his return to the pitch by the end of October. The Chelsea coaching staff is hopeful that he’ll be available for the crucial match against Arsenal on October 21.

Reece James’ return is eagerly awaited by Chelsea, especially given their demanding schedule in the Premier League. The team has been facing tough opponents, and their performance in the early part of the season has been less than stellar, with just one win in their last six matches.

This season, Reece James was entrusted with the Chelsea captain’s armband following Azpilicueta’s departure. The 24-year-old defender carries high expectations, but his contributions have been limited due to the injury-related absence.
