Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has been suggested as an ideal fit for Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag’s defense.

The Red Devils have been Һit hard by injuries, with starting defenders Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane sidelined.

Due to their ιnjury history in recent months, Ten Hag has been forced to play the likes of Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, and Jonny Evans in their place.

With defensive injuries mounting for Manchester United, the club has been advised on who they should prioritize signing during the upcoming January transfer window.

Ex-Manchester United defender Paul Parker remarked (via Spilxperten) that he “would probably rather sign Marc Guehi.”

In terms of goaltending, “He is a really good stopper, and I would choose him over Joachim Andersen because he is four years younger.”

He’s only 23 and already he’s a starter for the English national team. If Manchester United were to acquire Guehi, he would immediately become their top defensive stopper.Both Lisandro Martinez and Guehi are fantastic goalkeepers, but Guehi is more graceful with the ball.

A player of Guehi’s intelligence would be a welcome addition to the team. I think it’d be a good idea for Manchester United to do some shopping at Crystal Palace.

Since joining the Eagles from Chelsea in 2021, Guehi has been an outstanding addition to Palace, appearing in 91 games and contributing five goals and one assist.

The ex-loanee of Swansea City has also played six times for England. Given that he hasn’t suffered an ιnjury since his time with Wales, his durability will be an asset to Man United.

Portuguese superstars Goncalo Ignacio and Antonio Silva have been mentioned as possible targets for Manchester United, who reportedly have a long list of players they want to sign.
