Liverpool’s iconic No. 11, Mo Salah, could be on the verge of playing his last match in the renowned red jersey. According to reports from Riyadiyatv, as shared by the Liverpool Echo, it is suggested that Salah will feature in the upcoming game against Newcastle United before heading to the Middle East for a medical examination as part of a proposed transfer to Al-Ittihad.

Despite numerous assertions to the contrary, including Jurgen Klopp’s recent declaration that Salah wouldn’t be the latest high-profile name to join the Saudi Pro League, these rumors persist. Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, also dismissed such claims in a not-so-cryptic post.

The timing of this story coinciding with the upcoming match against the Saudi-owned Newcastle United is quite interesting, to say the least. Nonetheless, it’s advisable to take these rumors with a grain of salt, Reds fans, and simply move on.
