Sanchez’s team was facing intense pressure, having just made a solid save from Luca Digne’s attempt. A set piece landed at the feet of Nicolo Zaniolo, who volleyed from just 8 yards out, striking it perfectly.

 

Sanchez shouldn’t have had a chance, but he somehow managed to get a firm hand on it, pushing it over the bar.

 

Regrettably for Chelsea, Malo Gusto was subsequently shown a red card, and the Blues ended up losing the game. Nevertheless, Sanchez knows he played his part in keeping us in the contest.
