Louis Saha, a former striker for Manchester United, has stated that Mason Mount is not as imaginative as he may be.

United have had a terrible beginning to the season.

He stated, “I haven’t seen enough of Mount yet, but United are reliant on one or two players to create. His imagination has completely vanished. Against Brentford, he didn’t make any enticing runs that I could observe. He can’t take any risks with his current timing and performance.

I think the team will be formidable once the guys find their rhythm. I’ll feel better about Man Utd’s chances if and when guys like Bruno Fernandes start making those passes.

Saha thinks Mount can improve significantly after United paid Chelsea a hefty transfer price to get his services.

The Frenchman claimed that Chelsea tricked United into paying too much for the English international and that Ten Hag’s club overpaid as a result.
