The ‘crazy thing to say’ is Louis Saha’s criticism of Mason Mount’s lack of originality

Louis Saha, a former striker for Manchester United, has stated that Mason Mount is not as imaginative as he may be.

United have had a terrible beginning to the season.

The Red Devils have only won four games and lost four games in the Premier League in the period shortly before the current international break.

United are winless in the Champions League and are currently in last place in Group A after suffering defeats to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.

After adding Andre Onana, Mason Mount, Rasmus Hojlund, Sofyan Amrabat, Altay Bayindir, and Sergio Reguilon over the summer, there were high hopes for Erik ten Hag’s squad this season.

United hasn’t been able to get going and start racking up points because of frequent injuries to key first-team stars and subpar play.

Saha mentioned Mount as a player who needs to step up their game in an interview with King Casino Bonus published in The Manchester Evening News.

He stated, “I haven’t seen enough of Mount yet, but United are reliant on one or two players to create. His imagination has completely vanished. Against Brentford, he didn’t make any enticing runs that I could observe. He can’t take any risks with his current timing and performance.

I think the team will be formidable once the guys find their rhythm. I’ll feel better about Man Utd’s chances if and when guys like Bruno Fernandes start making those passes.

Saha thinks Mount can improve significantly after United paid Chelsea a hefty transfer price to get his services.

The Frenchman claimed that Chelsea tricked United into paying too much for the English international and that Ten Hag’s club overpaid as a result.

Based on what we’ve seen so far,” Saha continued, “I’d sаy Mount isn’t performing, and I’ve seen Casemiro play more offensively than Mount. That’s a totally out there claim, but it holds some water.
