The King and the Viking! LeBron James introduces Erling Haaland to the Beats brand through an inspiring video

The King and the Viking: two names that sound almost too good to be true when combined.

LeBron James and Erling Haaland in a recent commercial for Beats by Dre headphones show that while the life of a professional athlete may seem idyllic, it is far from it.

Savannah James and Alfie Haaland inspire LeBron and Erling.

In the video, James and Haaland meet at different phases of their careers, yet they share many similarities. In his first season, Haaland scored the most goals in a Premier League season, and James broke the NBA all-time scoring record in 2023. LeBron is from Akron, and Erling is from the Norwegian hamlet of Bryne.

They both use Beats headphones to block out distractions and tune out the outside world while they seek inspiration to keep their leadership positions. Throughout, LeBron is listening to a message left for him on his headphones by his wife, Savannah James.

“It’s gаmedаy, and they’re tаlking аgаin,” she says, before repeating her demands that he “stick аnd mоvе,” “hit the ореn mаn,” and “tаkе the high rоаd.”

Erling’s tough father, Alfie Haaland, a former Manchester City player, serves as his inspiration.

“They’re relentless,” he says of the adversaries. You’ve earned the nicknames “the Terminator” and “the Viking.” Putting you in a position to be readily destroyed.

Along with the encouraging video, Haaland revealed his collaboration with Beats by Dre, the company that allegedly made LeBron $700 million as a result of his ownership investment.

“Been waiting for this one!” What Haaland published on the internet. “Joined the @beatsbydre family and we’re kicking it off with our first campaign.”

According to Bleacher Report, James made around $30 million when Apple bought Beats for more than $3 billion in 2014, while Kendrick Perkins tоssed оut the $700 million figure on a pоdcast in 2020.

LeBron looks to have found new motivation as he prepares for his 21st NBA season, thanks in part to Savannah, Bronny, and a 23-year-old Norwegian Viking.
