‘The owners are investing’

Man United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come to the defense of the Glazer family

Zlatan Ibrahimovic questioned fans who are critical of the Glazer family after their summer recruitment of former Manchester United striker Ibrahimovic.

After a successful summer of recruitment in which over £150 million was spent on Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund, and Mason Mount, the 42-year-old has questioned United fans who criticize the amount of money the Glazers allocate to the club.

“I think now in Man Utd, I don’t know, there are some kind of demonstrations about the owners to sell it and that,” the former United striker said on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

“It’s not like they’re not investing; after all, they paid top dollar to acquire a number of star players.”I don’t know what the real explanation is, but I believe it’s a little unfair to claim that they aren’t doing what the people expect them to do.

Earlier in the year, the Glazers family was trying to sell the club, and rumors circulated that British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari sheikh Jassim were interested in buying it.But talks have stalled, and the fanbas are beginning to wonder if an agreement is even still possible.

This weekend, United takes on Brentford.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic shows blatant ignorance when asked about Glazers

The former Manchester United striker has openly questioned fans who criticize the Glazer family in light of the club’s summer recruitment, after spending two years at Old Trafford (2016-2018).

The 42-year-old defended the Glazer family in a conversation with the despicable reporter Piers Morgan, thanking them for the summer transfer of funds.

With our own money, United spent almost £150 million for Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund. The Glazer family has never invested any of their personal money into the team. Instead, they’ve been a parasite for the previous 18 years. Ibrahimovic is quite low-class for implying that our protests are unjustified.

I suppose today with Man United, I don’t know, there are some type of demonstrations demanding the owners to sell it and that, but just to remind you, the owners are investing,” the former United striker remarked on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

They brought in a lot of guys for a lot of money, so it’s not like they aren’t investing.

“So I think it’s a little bit wrong saying that they are not doing what the fans expect them to do,” she said. “Then again, I don’t know what the real reason is behind everything.”

Even though the American Glazer family declared in November that they would be open to investment, the takeover process has apparently been delayed.

They are rumored to have two potential bidders in Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar.

Fans are worried that negotiations have stopped and the club’s future is uncertain because they all want to get rid of the Glazers.
