Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Jnr., has reportedly signed a contract with the club’s youth team and made the move to join his father at Al-Nassr.

The youngster, who has already played for academy teams at Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United, is starting out on his own career with the hopes of one day matching his legendary father’s achievements.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Cristiano Jnr has signed a contract with Al-Nassr’s Under-13 team in Saudi Arabia in order to continue his development.

In January, Ronaldo and his family relocated to the Middle Eastern country when he decided to leave Europe and his contract with Manchester United was terminated.

The young player will wear his father’s legendary number seven after getting off to a blistering start to his professional career, scoring 25 goals in eight games while playing for Juventus.

All sides have signed off on the deal, and the youngster will begin practicing with his new teammates soon.

He has won five Ballon d’Ors and a record number of Champions Leagues, but his eldest kid still wants him to play in a game with him.

According to a quote Ronaldo made public last year, “my son tells me: dad, hold on a few more years, I want to play with you.”

To have any chance of playing with Ronaldo, who turns 39 in February, he’ll need his father to keep playing past his own retirement age.

The birth of Ronaldo’s first kid, Cristiano Jnr., in June 2010 made him a father at the young age of 25; the identity of the mother has never been made public.

Although the boy has watched his father play football at every level of his successful career, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star said he is not pressuring him to follow in his footsteps.
