After Chelsea defeated Luton 3-2 at Kenilworth Road, defender Thiago Silva of Chelsea was clearly not thrilled.
Cole Palmer’s second goal of the brace put the visitors up 3-0 after 70 minutes, and Mauricio Pochettino’s team appeared to be heading for an easy Premier League victory.
However, in the closing minutes, goals from Elijah Adebayo and old friend Ross Barkley cast some doubt on the outcome.
Because of this feаr, Silva was not happy and chased off a cameraman who had entered the field after the final whistle.
The 39-year-old was then seen having a conversation with teammate Enzo Fernandez, with captain Conor Gallagher also able to hear the argument.
After the match, Pochettino provided some insight into the veteran defender’s frustrations by stating that Silva’s incessant whining is helpful to the squad.
“This is how Thiago is.” TNT Sports was informed by him. He’s never cheerful and always moans, but that’s a good thing.
