“Writing is a way for me to exist, as only my existence can result in writing this way,” Cantona said, describing his passion for music writing.

Why begin now, after all these years? just because I had not had the time previously.

“I eventually got around to picking up the guitar during lockdown, and even though I’m still not very good, I felt comfortable enough to learn a few songs and perform them.

Manchester is where I’ll be starting because it’s a place that has really stuck with me. for the overall vibe as well as the football, of course.

The legendary Manchester United player hopes that a “modest piano and cello” will perform alongside him on the next tour, so it won’t be a one-shot deal.

Before moving to United in 1992 for a reported £1 million, Cantona first gained recognition with Leeds.

In his five stormy years at Old Trafford, he went on to win two FA Cups and four Premier League titles.
