Trevoh Chalobah, a defender for Chelsea, has fallen out of favor and the club apparently wants to get rid of him

Chalobah spent time on loan at Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town, and Lorient while rising through the Chelsea junior system before making his first team debut in 2021.

The central defender has been a mainstay for Chelsea ever since his debut, starting 63 games in all competitions while scoring four times.

Despite being a key member of the first squad for the past two years, Chalobah was rumored to be leaving the club this summer.

Bayern Munich, the German champions, tried hard to sign him before the transfer deadline but were unsuccessful.

When the transfer window ended, Chalobah stayed at Stamford Bridge despite having the opportunity to join Premier League rival Nottingham Forest.

Chelsea will reportedly let the 24-year-old depart the club during the upcoming winter transfer window, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

According to the report, Chalobah will be able to get more playing time away from Stamford Bridge if he leaves Chelsea in January.

Bayern is going to restart their pursuit and conduct conversations about a possible deal for a center-back because they still want to add one to the roster.

After working with Chalobah at Chelsea, current Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel appears eager to bring him to the Allianz Arena.

However, the Bavarians may face competition from other clubs who are interested in securing his signature.
