Warren Zaire-Emery will out until the end of 2023. How does PSG cope with it?

In the coming weeks, the skeptics will perhaps realize a little more about Zaire-Emery’s importance at PSG, especially in the midfield. Injuring his right ankle in the match against Gibraltar (14-0), the 17-year-old international suffered a serious ligament sprain and is not expected to be able to play with PSG before 2024.

The teenage player left the French national team yesterday and returned to Paris to treat his injury. The exact time of his absence may be adjusted in the coming days, after performing all the necessary tests and checks to see the damage to his right ankle.

And, coach Enrique is the person who understands the importance of this teenage star more than anyone else. Because since the beginning of the season, Zaire-Emery has started 10/12 matches in Ligue 1 2023/24. He only sat on the bench for 2 matches, against Clermont (0-0) and Strasbourg (3-0).

Both times without Zaire-Emery, Lucho chose Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha to replace him. But the Spanish military leader is not really satisfied with these reluctant replacements.
