Zlatan Ibrahimovic defends Glazer family amid Manchester United takeover talks

In the midst of Manchester United takeover discussions and fan demonstrations, 42-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come to the defense of the beleaguered Glazer family.

He has questioned United fans who criticize the Glazers for their financial investments in the club, particularly after a strong summer of recruitment that saw them spend over £150 million on players like Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund, and Mason Mount.

“I think now at Manchester United, there are some demonstrations about the owners selling the club and such, but it’s important to remember that the owners are actively investing,” the former Manchester United striker stated during an episode of “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”

Earlier this year, the Glazer family had been exploring the possibility of selling the club, with interest from potential buyers like Qatari Sheikh Jassim and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
